Cocoa Cake

I don’t know how I managed it, but the first time I tried this recipe, I completely forgot to add the baking powder. I ended up taking a brick of cocoa out of the oven that I could barely slice. Now I can almost do it by heart, and every time I find some good nuts and raisins in the kitchen, my hands itch to grab my bowl and start mixing.
